About Juan David
I am a Certified Advanced Rolfer™ and Rolfing® Movement Practitioner with over 25 years of clinical experience and 20 years of teaching experience. I believe that mastery is the place where logic, knowledge and intuition converge, and as a practitioner, I combine a rigorous scientific understanding of the discipline with an open-minded, intuitive approach. As a teacher, I enjoy building a strong framework of the science, theory and philosophy of Rolfing®, and encouraging students to investigate and master these concepts through play and personal exploration.
I’m a faculty member for The Rolf Institute® of Structural Integration involved in teaching Phases 1, 2 & 3 of the
Rolfing® training as well as the Life Sciences.
Over the years I have studied a variety of modalities with a wide range of teachers. These include Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Nerve & Vascular Manipulation, joint biomechanics, Somatic Experiencing and other approaches to working with trauma, and a variety of movement practices. I have recently completed a two and a half year program studying Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. As my understanding of the human body
grows, I feel an ever deeper sense of awe and fascination.
